After the storm

The long spell without rain was broken last night with a terrific thunderstorm and a heavy downpour. It's been a while since we've seen water 'jewels' on leaves.

After MrM's long shift yesterday we had a very late start to the day but, even so, I still feel as though I'm suffering from sleep deprivation. It was a day of pottering when very little was achieved; just what we needed.

Very good to chat with Tom in the evening.
