The world in Glasgow

At the Mackintosh church at Queens Cross for a Glasgow Jazz Festival concert.

Great to see Fergus McCreadie live for the first time. This concert he was just playing piano solo, and it was quite a tour de force, one piece that just ebbed and flowed for 50 minutes. Astonishing, and a quite incredible talent.

And a beautiful place to listen to music.

Feeling my age slightly though, as I could tell the folk I was with that I know his mum!
