Unusual Find

It’s amazing the things you come across when you’re clearing a house and this was particularly unexpected. I was a bit worried as it still had bullets in it but some quick research has revealed it as a starter’s pistol. Whew!
Anyway, we’d another long stint today and we’re whacked. Things are moving amazingly quickly (I’m used to the Edinburgh crematorium backlog) and the funeral’s on Thursday so another couple of busy days ahead.
There’s a storm blowing past just now. We were watching the lightning blasting along the horizon until a few minutes ago but then the wind really got up so the terrace has been abandoned for now. And as I type I can hear raindrops splooshing against the window. Great!
