Rhuddlan Bowling Club

MONDAY

I headed out on an 11 km run this morning which took me down to the collapsed Llanerch Bridge, then through Waen, over the A55 and up the hill through Rhuallt and then back to Tremeirchion passing St Beuno's Jesuit Spirituality Centre. It was a tough run in places with the heat, the hills and a farmyard with ankle-deep cow manure. I was happy with a pace of 6.43 /km.

This afternoon I became a fully paid-up member of Rhuddlan Bowling Club and had a practice game with Roy, John and Gareth. It's twenty years since I last played outdoors and I wasn't familiar with the green  so my play was a rather inconsistent.

Another hot and sunny day.
