Climbing and falling

These small climbing roses are now much nearer than they should be to the ground. There are hundreds of blooms but they are toppling under their own weight. Time to trim them back after this seasons bloom.

Rosa 'Veilchenblau'. Apparently it’s officially a rambling rose rather than a climber!

The lighting was very bright when I took this shot but usually they look a bit more lilac in colour!
