Bass Rock & Tantallon Castle...

Taken from a moving vehicle! Because we had only nipped to North Berwick for a quick Tesco visit and petrol late this afternoon. Then back to East Linton to have dinner with our friends ahead of the Highland Show which we head over to tomorrow. We have been to North Berwick before, but I'd like to go back. In fact I would really like a week in this area without the Highland Show getting in the way, so we must make a return visit.

Most of today we sat outside reading. Under our canopy, as it was rainy on and off. It brightened by the evening. We did a bit of sorting then headed out at 4, to our friends via the petrol stop.

It doesn't seem like a whole year has passed since we were sitting around their dinner table, talking about the Highland Show, and wondering what to expect. Well we now know what to expect, and are looking forward to getting out in the fresh open fired air plus the excitement of such a huge show. I am not hired to be on the Bushcraft stand like Jon is, so apart from tea/coffee maker, and fire feeder, I will definitely be getting out to see what the show has to offer.

Had a nice dinner prepared by Karen and a catch up. Now back for our last caravan night!
