Kids behind bars

Two-year-old insisted on taking the fridge magnet letters along with her in the pushchair when we went to collect four-year-old from school. As soon as the latter spotted them she had the idea of attaching them to the play area's metal bars and her age mates joined in. (The little one's in the middle there.)  I couldn't help but be reminded of the caged families  that were exhibited as curiosities in the 19th century, and  of the children who were incarcerated by Donald Trump's administration when they attempted to cross the Mexican border. (Remember the Bronze Shoes installations that Kendall, Bluheron and others blipped about?)

This of course was just kids having fun in the sun and they soon dispersed to other activities or to their homes.
