Inspite of rain and cool temperatures

I discovered this beautiful butterfly today.
I had to take it as my main picture as we haven’t seen a butterfly in Florence since two years - too much wind. We did enjoy some of our day, visiting the house of a famous artist of the last century, walking in the park and having tea at the Empress Hotel. The afternoon was thoroughly ruined by very noisy renovations on the hotel walls, so I had to fight for a refund of the already paid fees. We will take PaulaBanks recommendation and go to Gowinchan Bay tomorrow.
