Colour in the village

This wonderful ironmongers is still run by the same family that was here when we first moved to the village. An old fashioned shop, it stocks just about anything you might need, including brightly coloured plastic buckets! We have no need of these because we have “the nappy bucket” (extra.) We brought this home from Venezuela in 1966. There it had been used by our.maid Antonia to boil up baby Anna’s nappies on the stove.
