Moth larvae

The larvae of the Ermine Moth have taken over many of the trees in the forest near our home. They create these web-like structures, making communal nests for large groups of them. Due to low rainfall these past few months, we have seen them more than ever before...tree after tree are highly covered in the webs, giving the forest a real witchy look. By the end of June the larvae should have turned into moths, thus changing the affected trees back to normal.
