Deadheads

A late night last night in Glasgow covering the football due to play being suspended for an hour and a half after six minutes of action had taken place due to the heavens opening on an epic scale over Hampden last night as Scotland faced their Georgian counterparts.

Due to the delay I never left the national stadium until after midnight. Getting on to the motorway after international games is always a long drawn out process that takes nearly 30mins to travel less than a mile. Once on to the motorway it was plain sailing to Motherwell to drop off my colleagues before continuing on towards Edinburgh only to discover the motorway was shut from Bathgate onwards, eventually I made it home just after 2am this morning.

All day I've just had that horrible feeling of felling hungover just minus the alcohol side effects and have spent most of it in the greenhouse tidying up and deadheading some of the plants.

The result and the almost within touching distance of qualifying for the Euros next year has at least made up for today's shattered existence.
