Still-Life from the Garden

It wasn't until this evening that I had time to think about a blip. First of all I took a couple of photos of some courgettes before they were sliced and roasted. Then I thought I must be able to do something better than this, so a trip to the garden again. This shrub is just coming into flower and I thought the leaves poking up through the flowers looked quite attractive. It is taken here against my recently painted lead white wall. I'm glad now I didn't use the courgettes because when I looked at them again, viewed  from the end, they loosely resembled the shape of the ill-fated Titan Submersible lost in the North Atlantic Ocean.
