St. Kilda (Again)

Our (at last) last stop in Scotland -- much as I have loved being here, it feels like we have been caught in an endless orbit of the Scottish islands -- visiting and revisiting the same sites over and over.

Today we bid a FINAL farewell to St. Kilda --a lovely, forlorn place we have seen just 10 or so days before.  Mr. W opted to take a rather strenuous hike up "the saddle" -- a steep hillside that led to a vertiginous cliff-edge view of fulmar nesting sites and a rather nasty plunge into the sea if one's footing wasn't steady!  (Fortunately he made it back to the ship in one piece!)

Tomorrow is a sea day as we forge ahead to Iceland.
