Just needs Custard

This is one of my Rhubarb plants that thinks its a triffid! When I moved in the house was rented and we were just the latest of a line of tenants and the other neighbors were nice but we only had a years tenancy so while they stopped and chatted, and were welcoming, but we were just stopped not stayed. After 2 years we bought the house from the estate, and started the very slow job of making it ours, and threw a house buying party. The Neighbors all came full of smiles and with gifts in hand, the best of these were the plants! The rhubarb was one of these, they came out of an abandoned garden on a derelict croft in the wilds of caithness, rescued by a fellow plant lover and planted and grown in his garden for years, so he lifted a crown and brought it me.
They have grown like wild, big and massive, the patch has been thinned and shared by me over the years, the school gets enough to make crumble with every kid in the summer term, friends all have some but every year we get a wonderful display. No idea what it is :-) but the stalks are over 6 foot high!. Just add Custard.
