The values of the Lighthouse.

I volunteer at a wonderful place in Woking called the Lighthouse. This is a centre of social transformation where people who are struggling can come and be served. Those who are hungry, homeless, lonely, suffering from mental health pressures or just needing some food or basic clothes for their children can come and receive help. 
We are a faith based organisation but we welcome people of all faiths or none. The picture is of a poster hanging in the lighthouse that displays our values for the guests to see. I hope they see these values in all the volunteers who serve here. 
I love being here, chatting to people of all different backgrounds and listeni g to their stories. A privelege to be part of it.
