Cake Prep

Baking a cake tomorrow for a couple celebrating 40 years of marriage. Working with fondant in the heat is not really to be advised, and yes, flower paste is normally used for sugar flowers, but as they are bring added to a butter creamed cake it doesn't seem to matter as much.

In other news, Joe and I had our first dip of the season in our local lido. It was sheer bliss. Not crowded and the water was a heady 28!!! Almost bath water :)
