In the woodland

We spent today wandering around two nature reserves in Kalgoorlie, both featuring plants of the Great Western Woodlands. Which Wikipedia says is part of one of the world's "global biodiversity hotspots ….. with new species of flora and fauna still being discovered. 

The main photo is of a Spotted Jezebel Butterfly, Delias aganippe.

The extra is a collage of woodland eucalypts.The larger photo at top right is Gimlet Gum, Eucalyptus salubris, glowing red in late afternoon light.
