Pyramid Orchids

I thought I would just take one last photograph of these orchids growing in my lawn. Their pyramid shape has now disappeared and the flowers are now at their peak. They will soon begin to wilt in this heat.

Mowed the lawn, went to the supermarket the long way as our lanes are closed again but not much traffic in the early afternoon as everyone is probably enjoying the sunshine before collecting their kids from school.
