Road to Tesco

Started the day with a supermarket run and other domestic duties. A return to watering in the early evening, taking off new shoots on the Wisteria before it takes over the village, and spraying the roses as Aphids are starting to reappear. Evening entertainment provided by gentlemen from the National Grid endeavouring to find a cable fault which caused a number of us in the Close to experience power cuts at different times during the day. Mine was from 11.45 p.m. last evening until 1.30 a.m. which did not inconvenience me apart from having to reset some timers and cooker clocks.
