Forcola di Livigno

Busy morning clearing all the admin tasks which piled up over the last 3 weeks. After lunch we drove Livigno which belongs to Italy but is a tax free zone. We needed to get some Sportiva hiking shoes (made in Italy) and to pay the shop with kitchen accessories a visit.

We also buy our hiking shoes at a small but very specialized shop run by a local woman. In winter she is mostly busy as a professional ski guide.

Scenic 1h drive over the Bernina pass first and then the Forcola di Livigno and back towards the evening. Filling the tank and having a Cappuccino with a brioche upon arrival and a glas of Prosecco with olives and chips before leaving is a must.
