Hot Builders

It might have been raining for the first time in ages, but it did not put us off our Friday morning walk in Portobello.

While on our walk we came across this van for some local builders, which we just loved. 

We ended up speaking to the owners son, who said that the van gets a lot of interest. We recognised most of the cartoon characters, however, when we asked the owners if there was any he did not recognise, he said, the pirate! I ask you … it’s obviously, Captain Pugwash. Who is your favourite kids tv character? 

Thankfully, the rain had stopped when my friend Avril came round for some lunch and a wander round Musselburgh.
