¡Graduación!

What a day of emotions... Both kids 'graduated' today... Nate up into the big part of school and Asha to Instituto. We had ceremonies and special words spoken over & about each child. Asha especially was gushed about today. One of her teachers also wrote her a letter that brought tears to all of our eyes and a swell to the heart! It feels bittersweet, this school has been so important to us and it's such a special place.
We went for lunch and mini golf to celebrate the kids. Nate's felt sad that Maria will no longer be his teacher and that there's no school during summer!

In extras, Asha with Su (the teacher who wrote the letter), with Cristian, and both with Maria. For those who remember way back when to D-Nens days, Maria ran that and was 3 year old Asha's teacher!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Both kids doing so well and being kind generous people.
2) Their teachers all going the extra mile.
3) A Read-a-thon to end the day.
