Green Carpet

We’d put the moth trap out last night not realising it was going to be wet in the early am. We got a few …about 8 species which included this lovely Green Carpet. We’ve had three ‘ new to our garden’ moths in the last few days. One in the trap last night , one which flew into the house and the third brought in by Cassie who put it on the carpet very gently then watched it! It was fine - we took a photo and released it :)
