The Mont Blanc Range, Background to Their Lives

My friend, Maria, and her son Seba, very strong and loving characters. When Maria’s husband died about 20 years ago, Seba was bereft to lose his Papa, but Gordon had given him the gift of love of the mountains and Maria makes sure that he has the opportunity to enjoy them with her. It was no surprise to me to see them on the Grand Chamossaire this morning as I came down and I shall see them tomorrow, at the hut at Anzeindaz for the opening weekend. 

Tonight we have our lovely family here so a late “after raclette” blip while the others go for a digestive walk and I put out desert. A perfect summer’s evening here and I hope it is with you too.
