smiling in the sunshine...

another scorcher!! And forecast to hit 30 or above today - it feels it!! Very humid so another early start in the garden for some watering and sorting some pots out in the shade before retreating indoors!

But the sunshine has lured this common darter dragonfly out and he was happy to pose on the verbena flower for me! They always appear to be smiling when you get close up!  Not been many in the garden at all yet this year so hope this is the start of seeing a few more....
