A Tree

Another very early walk for me today - but even at 6 a.m. it was already hot and humid.

I snapped this tree on one of the lanes - I like its characterful shape and the fact that bits of it appear to be dead and devoid of any leaf bearing branches!

It has remained sunny and hot all day and we now have thundery showers forecast for later this afternoon - hopefully they will clear the air a bit. As I type this, there is a distant rumbling - but the sun is still shining!!

My sudoku puzzle book has taken a bit of a hammering today - it’s about the least energetic thing that I have to do at the moment….
