Tree Dahlia

A warm mostly sunny day for the first day of winter under down under...
had a family lunch to celebrate a birthday. Only 6 of us present including the birthday boy but a lovely lunch in spite of the lack of family around.

This Tree Dahlia was a cutting given to Mother by one of the women from exercise classes. The cutting sat in a bucket for many months waiting to be situated in an appropriate spot and finally given to my sister-in-law for her garden. As one can see it loves it's new abode and is thriving.
