Pond clearer

Spent the early part of the day clearing duckweed and blanket weed from the pond and cutting down the excessive plants around it. Looks a lot better now. Then went on a 23 mile bike ride which was hot but pleasant. Then did more cupboard clearance and food shopping. R and her friend K had been out in the Rye area so we had a late supper outside and went to bed tired from all the exertion.
