After a very very long day starting at 3:45am, 2 flights and 5 hours wait in Paris  we finally arrived in Ponta Delgado on Sao Miguel in the Azores!

However our luggage didn’t.

What a pain in the backside. The next direct flight is Wednesday. So instead of relaxing after the early start we had to find a shopping mall, frantically work out what essentials we need and try to find them before the shops shut. Fortunately our walking boots & contact lenses were hand luggage.

But we’re here, it is a lovely temperature, found some local chilled white wine & pizza and slept well.
