Speckled Wood Butterfly

Not in the best condition but it is a first for me.
A visit to Cambo Estate today and although I saw a couple of Red Admirals they were constantly on the move so no photo of them.

We went into the Edible Garden and it was there I spotted the wee brown butterfly which I later identified. One of the gardeners had collected a huge tub of strawberries and she invited me to have a couple ..... nothing quite like a freshly picked strawberry still with the warmth of the sun on its skin.
