When is a weed not a weed ...

Bindweed - in the wrong place at the wrong time and it is a real menace. However, at present it is growing rather vigorously amongst the other weeds along the riverbank and the Bindweed flowers are, in this case, a much nicer plant than all the others!
Is there such a thing as a superior weed?
