Work in progress

This is the old fireplace at the sitting end of the new room, which is to be home to a wood burner. I asked the builders if they could save the quarry tiles and they have; the fireplace in our front room also has them. It’s nice to keep some original features in amongst all the new stuff. Tomorrow the grout should be going on to the brick slips. Exciting!
