Outdoors in Dores

I always think that has a nice ring to it. Dores is a blink and you’ll miss it village towards the north east end of Loch Ness which has a beach and a nice Inn. We’ve had so many lovely days that you will wonder why your correspondent went there on a dull one. Well the parking is easier and you never know what the light is going to be like until you arrive. It wasn’t great, hence my resort to monochrome shots. The main one shows what remains of at least two former jetties. The first extra, the beach and the second extra a sign for those who arrive without access to Google maps.
