Lepidolite

Gently glittering,
irradiating healing
and hope in dark times.

This is our Lepidolite, it's very pretty and is said to bring emotional healing and hope.  Isn't that nice?  
It must be a slow day if I'm blipping shelf items!
This is what happens when you're over 300 and limping towards 365 :-D
Busy day, plumber came to investigate a potential leak. He was helpful and came up with a plan I won't bore you with.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku had to sit through the explanation earlier and did not look wildly impressed.  
Leo can be a bit barky when we have visitors (who are not there solely to entertain him) so I took him over to the opposite neighbours for a play date.  They had a ball and I was slightly concerned they might not give him back! Lovely to know that local people could take him for a few hours in an emergency though :-)
I popped to the shops to source a present for a friend's little one, bought some fish, made a Bolognese, completed some paperwork and fetched Ben. He was supposed to have gone on a school trip but apparently he had decided against it at the last minute.  Not sure what that's about but he seems OK enough.
