Saltfleetby Theddlethorpe dunes

The U3a wildlife group visited these dunes at 7am today to watch one of the moth recorders in Lincolnshire count and identify his moths. Quite a few of us turned up and the man who had the 6 moth traps was brilliant at identifying the moths, including those tiny micro moths. Some were specific to this coastal area. The wildflowers along these dunes are at their best now. A great morning. And a good job we weren't tested on the names of the moths at the end!!!
