Another tarn …

…………… along the road. I never realised there were so many tarns around the area until I started Blipping them.

We managed a good walk this morning, arriving back home to some sunshine which immediately disappeared, and the afternoon got bleaker.

I’ve been reading an incredible true story by Mitchell Zuckoff, ‘Frozen in Time’, about several disastrous aeroplane crashes on the Greenland Icecap during WWII, and subsequent heroic attempts at rescues. I’m astounded at all the unbelievably awful happenings and the inspiring and wonderful accounts of bravery, both successful and unsuccessful. I was riveted!
