On Guard

A female crab spider guarding her eggs on a Crocosmia leaf in the front garden. Managed to capture her between gusts - most of the time the leaf was bouncing wildly around. Needless to say, this wasn't with the manual macro lens as I needed to time it carefully and be QUICK!
