The Kiel Canal

A lovely Asian Fusion meal was had last night but sadly the stargazing was cancelled as it was too light and the front of the ship had been closed to passengers due to the wind. Hopefully it will be rescheduled before we arrive back in Scotland. We decided an early night was in order since I wanted to be up and on deck before we entered the canal this morning.

Best laid plans and all that…the couple in the next cabin appear to have come down with coughs of some sort and both coughed all night long and have continued to cough all day today…we didn’t get much sleep! However I was determined to be on deck and L did follow me out. It’s quite a feat of engineering and it’s been a lovely day just ambling along its length…it’s taken about 10 hours from entry to exit.

A quick blip and run as it’s almost dinner time and I’m starving!
