Puffling

Today Janet and I went to Skomer Island. It was totally different from last year which was very hot and sunny. Today started very misty and wet and by lunchtime we were very wet and rather underwhelmed by the weather. The puffins were great though! We were so lucky and saw 2 pufflings - this is the first we saw and you can see the rain on its feathers. I also wanted to get a puffin in flight with sand eels. I succeeded with a few puffins in flight and those with sand eels but the only one I got with both was the extra and it only had one sand eel! It brightened up a bit an hour before we left which was good and despite the weather we had a great day.
