Down from London for the day...

Came down to Whitstable on the SE coast with my photographic group for the day.  Whitstable is a pretty little fishing town, particularly well known for oysters and that's what my photo reflects.  The sticks and lines in front of the old Thames barge are oyster lines.
The man digging in the  muddy sand is gathering lug worms for fishing.
After l left Whitstable l had a difficult  journey on down to Deal, the trains were messed up by signal failure and were either cancelled or severely delayed  - 2 hours in my case.  l missed my connection  but eventually got another and then after getting a few bits of shopping had to walk another mile to our flat in Deal as there were no taxis available.  Grrrr.
