It is the first day of the summer holidays!

A few options were put on the table, but CyclopsJnr wanted a low-key day. So CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops did some things in the house and nearby the house - a bit of basketball (after which CyclopsJnr herded with some other kids to play football for a while), beyblades, hot wheels, Fantastic beasts and where to find them (verdict - boring, too much talking), swapped to Scooby Doo, wrote some cards, went to the post office, watched Elton John at Glastonbury on demand, and walked to a newsagent to buy a packet of Pokemon cards.

And packed our suitcase for tomorrow...
