Two birds

..and no stones. Except the big stone dodo, I suppose. A serendipitous pairing on a walk this afternoon.

We’ve had our friend snippysister visiting from Australia, where she emigrated to thirty years ago this week. Such a great time catching up and reminiscing. She last visited eight years ago but as soon as we saw her the years fell away and we chatted like we always have, as if we’d been seeing each other weekly over all that time. Friends are such a treasure.
