Kids' summer holiday started today

Both Leevi and Emma got excellent report cards, as usual. We are very proud of our clever kids! In addition Emma received a "Fair Friend" award, voted by her class.

It's a tradition to go to granny's to have some ice cream after report cards are handed out together with my brother-in-law's family. Kids always receive grandma's and grandpa's scholarships.

Then we drove together to Vesilahti to have a lunch at  Pizzeria Makasiini. It's the most charming pizza place in Finland! There was the cutest white and hairy doormat ever  as you can see from the picture :-)

The day started with light rain but in afternoon sun shined warmly.
