over the garden fence

The younger cattle came over and peered over the fence at us enjoying the evening in the garden.  They are still quite tame as they were hand reared from a very early age.

E, B and I spent a relaxing day at Hilfield having taken their poustinia (a little wooden hut) as our base for the day while exploring their woodland and countryside in the sunshine.

Granddaughter I's birthday so the family celebrated with a barbeque in the early evening.  K had made a chocolate sponge birthday cake in the shape of a horse's head.
