It's Abstract Thursday!

This week's theme, chosen by our regular host Ingeborg, is 'Black and White'.  I started with a few books and converted my photos to black and white.  I then added a bit more abstraction by giving the image a touch of the 'Twirl' filter and using the 'Liquefy' filter.
In other news:  it actually rained during the night and had stopped by the time that we woke up but it did mean that we didn't need to water the garden today!
