Dipping feet in the Ostsee

I've bathed in the Baltic off Sweden and Denmark, and paddled off Knocke in Belgium, but this was my first time on a German beach. It was wide and windy, with beautiful white sand dotted with funny 'strandkoerbe' (beach baskets) - somewhere between a beach hut and a windbreak. The sea was great for kite-surfing, but I'll be back in August when it's warmed up a bit!
