Mastermind

Many moons ago we used to play games like Mastermind on a wet Sunday afternoon. Nowadays, everyone stares at their phones or iPads.
My father-in-law used to live to play this with my daughter, his granddaughter. He would often give her extra clues to help her win because she was only little.
She could only have been about three or four at the time, but she was very clever and I happened to be present when it suddenly dawned on Geoff that he didn’t have to help her any more. She was beating him fair and square.
