LILIES AT LAST

It's Flower Friday.  The lilies in my garden have been slow to grow and flower this year...likely due to the lack of rainfall. Generally speaking, I don't like to interfere with Mother Nature's plans, but when my garden was so slow to respond and was, in fact, drying up, I decided to give it a drink in the evenings.  It responded and now I'm enjoying a barrage of yellow lilies.  The hummingbirds agree with my decision to water...and they are grateful.
