Cotebrook Shire Horse Stud

My first visit to the only Shire horse stud farm that's open to the public in the UK. 
The horses were wonderful. Visitors are not permitted to feed the horses, but they're still happy to chat and nuzzle over the fencing. It's a lovely stroll round the 50 acres with plenty of benches, a bird hide, the occasional rescued red squirrel, foxes and Scottish cat in pens and a pig who loves a scratch. And a cafe with big teapots.
