Ironkids

Both our girls were in this and did 1 k.  In this shot I caught an older girl who crossed the line with a cartwheel! Some had a lot less energy.  I felt quite sorry for a few who obviously had a stitch or just looked exhausted.  The whole thing was really well organised and most kids did the last straight with a smile as they were applauded and egged on with other children and parental crowds! 

Tomorrow it’s the turn of adults: Ironman.  For this you do  a 2.5 swim, 112 miles on a bike and top that with 26.2 miles running ( a marathon! ). 

Bolton is very good at this sort of thing! We went and had a meal in the Olympus between the two girls running.

Tonight we’re off for a meal and card evening!
